Last Updated: March 15, 2026
1. Introduction
Simixa ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, processed, and protected when you use the Simixa application ("App").
By accessing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
To operate the App, Simixa collects only the minimum account information required for authentication and service access.
- Email address
- Login and authentication credentials
2.2 Patient Case Data (Stored Locally)
Patient-related information entered into the App (including symptoms, prescriptions, follow-ups, reports, uploaded documents, and case analysis information) is primarily stored locally on the user's own device.
Local storage technologies such as IndexedDB or user-selected storage folders may be used for this purpose.
Simixa does not maintain permanent patient medical databases on its servers. Users are responsible for ensuring that appropriate patient consent has been obtained before entering any patient-related information into the App.
2.3 Temporary Processing for Analysis
Certain features of the App may require temporary server-side processing in order to generate analysis results requested by the user.
- When a patient case analysis is requested, relevant data may be temporarily transmitted to secure processing infrastructure.
- This information is used only to generate the requested analysis.
- Once the analysis result has been delivered to the user, the processing data is automatically deleted.
Simixa does not permanently store patient analysis records on its servers.
2.4 Temporary Data Processing for Export
When users export reports or case data, the export process may temporarily use server-side processing infrastructure.
- The data required to generate the export file may be temporarily stored during processing.
- This temporary data exists only for the duration necessary to generate the export.
- Once the export file has been successfully delivered to the user, the temporary data is automatically deleted.
2.5 AI-Powered Search and Processing
Simixa includes AI-assisted features that allow users to perform searches, analysis queries, or decision-support requests.
When users submit queries through these features, relevant request data may be securely transmitted to third-party AI service providers via API connections in order to generate responses.
These providers may include artificial intelligence technology platforms such as OpenAI or other similar AI infrastructure providers.
- Only the minimum information necessary to process the request is transmitted.
- The data is processed temporarily in order to generate the response.
- Simixa does not create or maintain permanent patient databases on AI provider systems.
- The AI provider processes the request and returns the generated response to the user.
Users are advised to avoid including unnecessary personally identifiable patient information when using AI-powered search features.
2.6 Optional Google Drive Backup
Simixa provides an optional Google Drive backup feature that allows users to back up locally stored data to their personal Google account.
- This feature is currently available only in Desktop WebView environments.
- It may not be available on mobile versions of the application.
- Backup occurs only after explicit user authorization.
- Simixa does not access, view, or control the user's Google Drive data.
- Backup and restore operations are entirely user-controlled.
